Original Dating, with Fanciful, is thrilled to bring you this Sunday night virtual speed dating experience for people living in London.
We aim to bring you 8 (or so) speed dates at this fully automated event for speed dates lasting just 4 minutes. The event will last around 30 minutes.
What to expect
On the day, click the joining link and the event will start with a short intro from our host Shortly after, your first date begins.
Virtual speed dating is just like the in-person version in that you meet and speak to multiple people for four-minute 'dates' but with the convenience of joining in from home.
No app/software is needed. Join the event directly from your browser.
This is real speed dating, just done online using our virtual speed dating technology - this isn't done on Teams or Zoom our tech is purpose-built for speed dating.
Each date starts automatically and you can choose Yes, Friend or No after each date, depending on how things went.
Mutual matches are displayed the next day so you get time to review your selections after the event. Message your matches and arrange your next date using our WhatsApp-style messenger.

On the day of the event, you'll receive a joining link by email. Just ahead of the start time, simply hit the link in your confirmation and the Fanciful event will begin in your web browser after you grant camera and microphone permissions for the session. No special software is needed.

How virtual speed dating works
A virtual speed dating event is just like the real-life version, except you can virtually speed date from almost anywhere! Virtual speed dating is a fun, convenient and inexpensive way to meet singles who believe dating is all about meeting and speaking to people face to face, not swiping on apps.
You'll enjoy mini dates with multiple people. After each date you get to decide who you would like to see again. The event begins with a short introduction from one of our online hosts and in no time, you'll meet your first virtual date. You'll see a countdown on screen, so you know how long you have left with each person.
You'll continue to meet new people until you've met everyone, and the event will draw to a close with our host explaining the next steps. After the event, everyone finds out who they mutually matched with and has the option to contact their matches to chat further and maybe arrange a real date.
To take part simply purchase a ticket in advance and add your photo so you are ready to be matched. Just ahead of the published start time you'll follow a link in your email to join your online event.
Most virtual events introduce you to around 10 people, but numbers depend on how many people sign up. Virtual speed dating is a fun and very convenient way to meet new people and we'd love to see you at our next event.
