Ticketing: Frequently Asked Questions

Tuesday, 31 October 2023

When you purchase tickets on Fanciful you will be sent a booking confirmation to the email address you used when you registered. The organiser's name and contact details will be included if you have any questions relating to your booking or need to make any changes.

I've lost my booking confirmation. Help!

If you lose your email confirmation email you will be able to verify your booking has been successful by logging into your account at the Fanciful website and checking under the My Events section where you will see your event listed. If you have any questions relating to your booking you will be able to get in touch with them via this page.

Upon your successful booking, the organiser is notified so it's not a requirement for you to bring a printed ticket with you to your event as your name will be on the organiser's guest list.

I can't make the event now. Can I change my booking or get a refund?

You will need to contact the organiser of your event directly to make any changes to your booking. You can find their details on your confirmation email or by logging into your account on Fanciful. You may find it useful to read your organiser's Ts & Cs of booking on your confirmation email as it's unlikely you will be able to make booking changes at short notice.

Fanciful is a ticketing platform so we have no control over organisers and their booking policy and cannot assist with booking enquiries.

Can a friend take my place?

This is usually possible provided your friend is the same gender as you but please contact the organiser of your event to ensure this won't be an issue.

Are tickets refundable?

In most cases, tickets are only refundable when the organiser cancels the event you are booked for. In this situation. refunds are issued to you automatically via the credit or debit card used to pay for the original booking.
