Are you single and ready to mingle (for Jesus)?

Do you love Jesus and want to find someone to follow Him with? Do you like to hang out with other singles and have a good time? Then this event just might be what you are looking for!

Speed dating for singles age 35ish - 45ish. This event is for men looking for women and women looking for men. Here are the details:

• When: Monday, August 24th from 6:30-8:30pm

• Where: Loyal Legion in SE Portland

• How much: $25 which includes a complimentary drink ticket. Please note that payments are non-refundable.

• How will this work?

Come mingle and grab your drink. When the event begins, ladies will sit at reserved tables and men will rotate. Each person will get a list of the names and table numbers for each date. Dates will last around 7 minutes, after which the men rotate! You will meet at least 6 people.

• How will I know if there is a match?

At the end of the evening, each person will receive an e-form to fill out to indicate interest. The event hosts will review for matches and let each person know if there is a mutual interest. Please only match with people who you are interested in romantically.

• How do I sign up?

If this is up your alley, send a text to the person who invited you saying that you’re interested and your email address. From there, you will be given the link to sign up and pay the $25. If the event fills up, we will have a waiting list and possibly expand the capacity of the event. We have a few questions about dating preferences and will do our best to recruit and match people within the preferences requested but let's practice flexibility and openness to try new connections!

The expectation is that everyone will treat each other with the love and respect we are called to as Christians. Whether or not there is a match, you will be treated with love and kindness. Come prepared for interesting conversations and a great time!
